Owl Gossip (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Jeremy Osgood, a sole proprietor in Brentwood, Tennessee. Owl Gossip is a physical mail service that sends wildlife postcards and field dispatch letters through the United States Postal Service. This policy explains what information we collect through owlgossip.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and your choices.
Information You Give Us
- Order information: your name, email address, phone number, billing address, shipping address, and order details.
- Gift information: the recipient’s name and mailing address, and any gift note you write at checkout. We use these only to address and personalize the mail.
- Payment information: payments are processed by SureCart through Stripe or PayPal. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages: if you email jeremy@owlgossip.com, we keep the conversation so we can help you.
- Affiliates: if you apply to our affiliate program, we collect your name, email, PayPal payout email, and your answers on the signup form.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers collect some information automatically through cookies and similar tools, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the link that brought you here. We use:
- Google Analytics (installed through Google Site Kit) to understand how visitors find and use the Site
- Meta Pixel to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show ads to people who have visited the Site
- SureCart affiliate tracking to credit the affiliate who referred your order

Children’s Privacy
Owl Gossip mail is made for children, but it is bought and managed only by adults. You must be 18 or older to place an order. We don’t knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. When an adult gives us a child’s name as a mail recipient, we use it only to address and personalize that mail. If you believe a child has given us information directly, contact us and we’ll delete it.
How We Use Information
- To print, address, and mail your orders
- To process payments and monthly renewals
- To send order emails: confirmations, receipts, renewal notices, and account messages
- To answer questions and provide customer service
- To measure and improve our Site and advertising
- To track and pay affiliate commissions
- To prevent fraud and meet legal and tax requirements
We don’t send marketing newsletters. We don’t sell your name, address, or email address to anyone.
Who We Share It With
We share information only with the services that help run the business:
- SureCart, Stripe, and PayPal: checkout, payments, and subscription management
- USPS: delivering your mail
- Hostinger and Titan: website hosting and email
- Google and Meta: analytics and advertising measurement, as described above
- Affiliates: they see only that a referred order happened and the commission earned. They never see your address or payment details.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
How Long We Keep It
We keep order and customer records as long as we need them to run the business and meet tax and legal requirements, then delete them.
Your Choices
- Cancel a monthly plan any time from your receipt link or your customer account.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Adjust ad preferences in your Facebook, Instagram, and Google account settings.
- Email us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. We honor these requests for every customer, wherever you live in the U.S.
Security
We use SSL encryption on the Site, and payments run through PCI-compliant processors. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect to a minimum.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the latest version.
